Question: How to install new brushes in Photoshop CS4?

NOTE: This has been done and tested in Photoshop CS4 installed on Windows Vista Business 

Answer:

• Download your new set of brushes and copy the abr file eg. brushes.abr to the following directory "c:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Presets\Brushes". NOTE: This path may differ in different versions of Windows
• Open Photoshop CS4
• Press the F5 key on your keyboard
• The brushes window will now open
  
  
  
  
• At the top right hand corner press on the little down arrow
  
  
  
  
• In the dropdown list click on Load Brushes
  
  
  
  
• Select brushes.abr and click on LOAD and your new set of brushes will be loaded and ready to be used

• Add New Search
