How to install an Extension in Joomla! 1.5

STEP 1

Click on "Extensions" and then "Install/Uninstall"

STEP 2

Then click on "Browse" in the "Upload Package File" Box and select your Extension file.

In the example below I will install the JFusion component.

STEP 3

Then click on "Upload File & Install" next to the "Browse" button. And it will install the Extension.

STEP 4

If the component installed successfully you should see the below message

"Install Component Success" and the Extension is installed successfully.

STEP 5

Now click on "Components" at the Menu and you should see the newly installed component.

If you installed a module.

Go to template or plug-in

It will be under Extensions in the Top Menu under Module Manager or whatever you installed.
