• At the menu click on Format->Plain Text (To create a plain text message or to format the current mail to be plain text)
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• A warning will popup just click on 'OK'
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Now your message will be send using the Plain Text format

• Once in Outlook Express click on Tools->Options
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Click on the 'Send' tab and under Mail Sending Format select Plain Text
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Click on 'OK' to save your settings, now every new mail will be send using Plain Text
